Lice Clinics of America treats head lice in a clinic visit with the FDA-cleared AirAllé device. This is not a traditional comb-out service, but a professional service utilizing controlled heated air to kill lice and their eggs in about an hour, including the pesticide-resistant “super lice” that drugstore treatments often leave behind. Clinical trials showed 99.2% efficacy. Clinics across the country use the same device, the same training, and the same one-visit approach.
Our traditional clinic is a hybrid between a medical clinic and a hair salon. It is welcoming and clean, and we look to cater to a higher-end demographic. We are seeking approximately 800 square feet, with room for three treatment stations, a reception area, and storage for supplies. We look for a space set up to have a sink with running water and the ability to add a small clothes washer and dryer.
